 | What is a 'fan film'? |
| Read the Wikipedia article
for more information. |
 |
 | How do I comment or vote on a film? |
| You'll need to be logged in as a registered user to add your comments
on a film, or to vote. When you've registered and logged in, if
you visit a film's page you'll see the voting box and option to add a
comment. It's not possible to vote on a film which is marked as
being "in production". |
 |
 | Can I submit an update without registering? |
| Yes, please feel free to correct any mistakes you find in the database,
add more information to an existing film, or add any new fan-films you
know about. On each film's page, there is a "correct/update this
entry" link at the bottom right - click on that to submit your
corrections and/or new information. Click the "Submit Film"
link in the menu at the top of each page to add a new fan-film.
All updates will be reviewed before going live. |
 |
 | What information can I add to a film? |
| Currently we store the following information about the fan-films in the
database: the title of the film, a description of the film, a web-site
where more information (or the film itself) can be found, the name of
the film's director, the film's production company, the running time in
minutes, and the online status of the film (is it available to
download or watch streaming?). This list may be extended in the
future. |
 |
 | My fan-film doesn't belong in any of the existing categories. How do
I add a new one? |
| Submit your film as normal, using the "Submit Film" link at the top of
each page. When you get to the part of the submission process where
you select the category (or categories) that the film is in, there is an
option to suggest a new category. If your film is approved, the new
category will be created and you'll see it included on the front page. |
